FIRST QUARTER FALL
- College Financial Aid Night for Seniors & Families: September to November 2020.
- Note that there is a Senior Parent Night meeting before the Financial Aid Night so you can attend both while you are on campus.

SECOND QUARTER FALL
- iPrep College & Career Day Financial Literacy Topic Session for all Sophomores: in October/November during the school day.
- iPrep College Application Event & Financial Literacy or Financial Aid for College/FAFSA Session Choices for Seniors only: in October/November during the school day. Seniors will select their sessions during Senior Lock-In. If the senior misses Lock-In then stop by the CCC by October 1, to select your sessions or they will be chosen for the senior.
- ATTENDANCE TO iPREP is MANDATORY because it is a school day. If a student is absent, then the school attendance procedures must be followed in order to submit for the absence to be excused.
SECOND & THIRD QUARTERS FALL - SPRING
- Monthly FAFSA Workshops for Seniors & Families: in November (during Parent Conference Week), December, January and February from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will need:
- Your Social Security Number
- Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- Your 2016 Federal Income Tax Returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
- Bank statements and records of investments. At least know your account balances and the worth of your investments.
- Records or knowledge of the amount of any untaxed income you receive (if applicable)
- An FSA ID to sign electronically. Go to https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid (Get your FSA ID ahead of time because it takes 1-3 days for the Social Security Administration to verify your information. If you do not get your FSA ID ahead of time you can still come to the workshop and complete all parts of the application except the final submission page that you can complete once you get your FSA ID.)
- If you need assistance with the FAFSA and cannot attend any of the workshops, then please send your child to the College & Career Center in HH101 for help.

THIRD QUARTER SPRING
- Junior Day for the Juniors to prepare for Senior Year: in February, whole class field trip during the school day.
- Field trip forms will be passed out to all Juniors in December.
- Field trip forms are due in January.
- Breakout sessions will include College, Career or Military for me?, Best Fit College & College Admissions, Paying for College & College Entrance Exams.
- Lunch is provided.
- Juniors who do not attend the field trip are required to attend classes at Leilehua High School. If a student is absent from the field trip or school that day, then the school attendance procedures must be followed in order to submit for the absence to be excused.
FOURTH QUARTER SPRING
- College Fair & Planning Night for All Grades and open to the general public: in April from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Library and various classrooms at Leilehua High School.
- Over 16 colleges from the mainland and Hawaii will be here.
- Breakout sessions will include information about College Admissions, Financial Aid Basics, writing essays to win scholarships, playing sports in college, and for Seniors: How to Interpret Your Financial Aid Offer from Colleges and more!
- Light refreshments will be provided.
